Holly Cretney
Owner & Beauty Therapist
Born and raised in Peel, Holly trained at the University college Isle of Man in Beauty Therapy. The awarding body was VTCT, an international organisation offering a high standard of training. In her first year training, she was given the ‘student of the year’ award.
Since then, Holly has gained qualifications in nail enhancement, eyelash enhancements and extra brow training while working in the industry. The beauty industry is ever-changing, and Holly loves to pursue further personal development by gaining professional qualifications on an ongoing basis to provide her clients with the best treatments and service.
After 5+ years working in the beauty industry and more recently teaching part time at the College, an opportunity to create something for herself arose and so the idea of Salt began. This business became a reality thanks to a wonderful client base and the support of fantastic friends and family. It wouldn’t have been possible without their help.

Lucy Cadwallader
Beauty Therapist
Lucy is a talented Beauty Therapist, with 8+ years experience in the hair and beauty industry. She is the queen of all things waxing, and offers a wide range of treatments including luxury manicures, pedicures and relaxing facials. Working in Australia for a year in a fast-paced city salon helped Lucy refine her already fantastic skillset, and she has been delivering quality treatments to her loyal client-base ever since!
Lucy and Holly trained together in college from 2015-2017 and became great friends. After working for separate businesses for 5 years, the opportunity arose for Lucy to join the Salt team. Since qualifying, Lucy has continued her professional development by completing training in intimate waxing, lash lifting, brow henna and a masterclass in brow lamination.

Bethany Mooney
Beauty Therapist
Bethany qualified as a Level 3 beauty therapist with Holly and Lucy at the Isle of Man College and has since gained over 5 years experience working in the beauty industry. She took a short break, working in healthcare for a year but decided her true passion was in beauty therapy and started full-time at Salt with her two friends.
Bethany is a fantastic lash technician offering all types of extensions as well as a range of treatments including brows, waxing and gel nails.

Ellie Sawers
Beauty Therapist
Ellie is a Level 3 qualified beauty therapist and has been working in the industry for 7 years. Ellie completed a few years in the industry before deciding to go to the University of Salford, where she completed a Level 4 qualification in Media Makeup for Fashion. After a year in Manchester, Ellie knew she wanted to return to the island to be back to what she loved, and has since owned her own salon and gained a lovely loyal clientele.
Ellie has completed additional training in HD Brows, Lash lifts, Brow lamination and intimate waxing!
Ellie also trained alongside all the therapists at Salt Beauty whilst at college and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join her friends once again!
