Development starts
Work begins on transforming 47 Duke Street into the Salt Beauty studio we know and love.
Salt opens
Salt officially opens its doors and starts building clients and a good reputation.
Lucy joins!
Long time friend Lucy joins, as Salt’s first team member.
Salt Closes for COVID
Lockdown strikes again, and Salt pivots to doorstep beauty deliveries across the Island.

Bethany joins the team, initially part time, until re-finding her love for beauty and changing to full time.

Our team
Our team at Salt Beauty is made up of long-term friends who trained together at Isle of Man College, sharing a passion for beauty and a commitment to delivering exceptional treatments.
Holly, raised in Peel, trained in Beauty Therapy at the University College Isle of Man, earning the ‘student of the year’ award from VTCT. She has since gained qualifications in nail enhancement, eyelash enhancements, and brow training while working in the industry. Passionate about personal development, Holly continually pursues professional qualifications to provide her clients with outstanding treatments and service.
After five years in the beauty sector and teaching at the College, she seized the opportunity to start Salt Beauty in 2020, made possible by a supportive client base and wonderful friends and family.
Bethany qualified as a Level 3 beauty therapist from the Isle of Man College in 207 and has since gained a wealth of experience working in the beauty industry. She took a short break, working in healthcare for a year, but decided her true passion was in beauty therapy and started full-time at Salt with her friends.
Bethany is a fantastic lash technician offering all types of extensions as well as a range of treatments including brows, waxing and gel nails.
Ellie is a Level 3 qualified Beauty Therapist with years of experience in the industry. After working in Beauty for a few years, she earned a Level 4 qualification in Media Makeup for Fashion from the University of Salford.
Ellie has also completed training in HD Brows, Lash lifts, Brow lamination, and intimate waxing. While in college, she trained alongside the therapists at Salt Beauty and eagerly rejoined her friends there.
Ellie is now working part-time in Salt whilst she completes her training in Primary Education.
Leah has over 9 years of experience in the beauty industry and holds a Level 2 Beauty qualification from Isle of Man College, where she trained alongside the rest of the Salt team.
After initially stepping away from beauty, she later returned to follow her true passion and joined Salt to cover Holly’s maternity leave, quickly becoming a permanent and much-loved member of the team.
Leah’s favourite treatment is lash extensions, and she loves making clients feel confident and beautiful.
Aimee is a qualified Beauty Therapist with a Level 2 Beauty Therapy certification from UCM and specialist training in nails and makeup with The Gel Bottle and Cassie Lomas.
Naturally creative, she initially pursued accountancy after her A-Levels but soon followed her true passion for beauty. Aimee is now working part-time at Salt while completing her Level 3 training.
She brings a fresh, artistic flair to the team and loves helping clients feel their best. Outside of work, she enjoys experimenting with makeup and is always expanding her skills in the beauty world.
Imogen is Holly's adorable baby daughter who loves to pay surprise visits to make sure the girls are hard at work.
With her charming smile and playful demeanor, she effortlessly wins over clients, adding a touch of joy to the office atmosphere.
Whether it's a quick cuddle or a spirited giggle, Imogen brings a delightful energy that keeps everyone motivated and inspired.
